Since the beginning, I have loved art. It started with my grandma showing me how to draw and paint. Since taking art throughout grade school, my love for art has evolved into creating functional, high performing and beautiful websites. When crafting design elements, I design for the user to enhance the functionality and build the perfect user experience. When I'm not designing I enjoy spending time with my two younger brothers, trying new food/coffee places around town, and most importantly, playing ping-pong.
This responsive website for Carillon Historical Park is intended for visitors to learn about the park, what it has to offer, upcoming events, and membership. As for the design, I chose an old-timey, but modern style to reference the wide range of Dayton's history spanning from the 1800s to present day. The site's color palette and illustrations from the recent rebrand of the park are carried throughout the website.
Foodie is the app you need when you can't decide what to eat and want to try something new. In the mood for chicken? Foodie will randomly pick a chicken dish from a local restaurant. Gluten-free and have a hankering for hamburgers? Set your filters and let Foodie do the work. With Foodie, you can apply filters based on your needs: price level, food allergies, cuisine type, main ingredient, and more. Foodie will suggest a meal for you that will be delivered to you with the touch of a button. Bon appétit!
This responsive website is intended for users to learn about the achievements of Jerry West's basketball career. For the design, I chose to create a modern website with a nod to the time period in which he played through the retro photos that I used. Throughout the website are images from his rookie season through the season he won his only NBA championship. The color palette comes from the Los Angeles Laker's official team colors.
This redesign of the Lids website is based on user needs. The navigation was redesigned to simplify the process and to streamline the userflow between pages. As for the design, I used a simple grid structure to showcase products on the site. For the color palette, I used the two colors Lids has on the current site; a dark blue and red for the link color.
Bubly is a clean sparkling water that does not contain any sugar or sweeteners. Their marketing is fun, playful, and colorful. For the design, I played off of the clean water aspect and used soap bubbles to create an ad that is fun but also conveys the message that Bubly is a clean sparkling water. The color palette comes from the various can colors.
